The following is an extract from the TEEM evaluation of MathsWork.

In conclusion, the DLK Mathswork package has lots to offer Maths pupils at Key Stage 3, at a reasonable price for a site licence. Some of the modules are easy enough for Key Stage 2 pupils and some will be challenging enough for Key Stage 4. It is also useful for those Maths teachers who are reluctant ICT users, as there is very little that can go wrong. Pupils enjoy using the various modules and many will do more actual Mathematics using the computer than they do using more traditional methods. It can provide a different method of assessing pupils' understanding of mathematical concepts without all the marking.

The software provides an excellent, VERY affordable, accessible method for students to practice a myriad of different Mathematics topics. It has an excellent classroom compatible assessment system that allows positive interaction with the teacher when he/she is walking the classroom. It does not have particularly awesome graphics or special effects, which tend to distract the user, but does have simple colourful screens, which make a pleasant change from a textbook.

The software is very easy to understand and utilise and requires very limited IT skills. It also requires only a PC of very limited power
